Egg Surprise

Have you ever thought of easter?  Please nooooh! Let's  celebrate occasions according to our calendar. So instead of solely thinking about colorful eggs and hunting them, here is something new that will surprise your kiddos either on special occasions or one of those lazy afternoons -- A plate full of egg surprises...


EGG SURPRISE
Surprise!


Minced pork batter
250 g ground pork
1 small onion bulb, minced
1 big clove of garlic,minced
1 tbsp dried parsley
Dash of finely ground black pepper
Dash of coarsely ground black pepper
1 tsp light soy sauce
pinch of salt

1 egg, beaten

1 tbsp all purpose flour to dredge the egg
1 dozen boiled quail eggs, peeled and dredge with flour.
Egg dredged in flour
Japanese bread crumbs (Panko)

oil for deep frying

Procedure:

Mix minced batter ingredients until well combined.
Divide equally into 12 small balls.
Flatten each ball, insert the quail egg and form into ball to cover the egg.
Roll into the beaten egg and dredge with panko.
Place into the pan with hot oil and deep fry.

Let's Eat!
